Italian ceramics at SALONI WORLDWIDE / MADE Expo in Moscow

The Italian ceramic industry took part in the 10th edition of I SALONI WORLDWIDE / MADE EXPO MOSCOW in Russia from 15 to 18 October this year. The Moscow show displayed a wide range of high-quality offerings in the home furnishing sector, including furnishings and upholstery, lighting fixtures, kitchen furniture, office furniture, accessories, bathroom furnishings and textiles. I Saloni WorldWide Moscow celebratedits 10th anniversary this year.

The first edition of MADE EXPO MOSCOW, hold on the same dates in the prestigious setting of Crocus Expo 2 in Moscow, aimed to promote an awareness amongst Russian buyers of top-quality Italian products for interior architecture and the building envelope. The Italian ceramic industry took part in this section with a large collective of 30 companies, organised by the Confindustria Ceramica subsidiary Edi.Cer. Spa and by the Italian trade promotion agency ICE under the auspices of Ceramics of Italy.

The project consisted of a collective stand divided into three areas designed by architects Dante Donegani and Giovanni Lauda and located in Hall 6, stands B01, C03 and D03.

The thirty Italian ceramic companies taking part were: ABK, Ariana, Atlas Concorde, Bardelli, Cisa, Cooperativa Ceramica d’Imola, Cottoveneto, Decoratori Bassanesi, Edimax, Emilceramica, Fap, Fincibec, Fioranese, Grazia, Keope, La Fabbrica, M.I.P.A., Marca Corona, Mirage, Mosaico+, Novabell, Nuovocorso, Ornamenta, Refin, Ricchetti, Sant’Agostino, Serenissima, Settecento, Tagina and Vallelunga.

This aim of the initiative is to serve as a meeting point between the Italian ceramic industry and Russian furnishing and decoration professionals from across the country, who see the show as a vital opportunity to take stock of all the new trends in contemporary living.

Russian attendees wishing to prepare for their visits to Italian companies in advance can come to the show fully organised. For this purpose, Ceramics of Italy has developed a Ceramics of Italy app that can be downloaded free of charge from Apple Store and Google Play for use on tablets and smartphones. This app helps visitors navigate through the world of Italian tiles, providing lists of Italian companies, their locations at the show and fact sheets complete with references, descriptions and new products.
