Ceramics of Italy at Maison&Objet Asia

For the second year running, Ceramics of Italy will be taking part in Maison&Objet Asia, the international interior design and home decoration show to be held from 8 to 11 March in Singapore. The participation of Italian ceramic companies in the show is being organised jointly by Confindustria Ceramica’s subsidiary Edi.Cer and by the Italian Trade Agency ICE.

Three collective Ceramics of Italy / ICE stands (I6-J5, I18-J17 and I28-J27) with a floor space of more than 300 square metres are being organised inside the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Center and will host 22 ceramic companies: Appiani, Ceramica Bardelli, Ceramiche Ascot, Ceramiche Sant’Agostino, Cerdisa, Coem, Cooperativa Ceramica d’Imola, Emilceramica, Fap Ceramiche, Fincibec, Florim, Gruppo Beta, Keope, Litokol, Marazzi, Mirage Granito Ceramico, Ornamenta, Ricchetti, Settecento, Simas, Vallelunga&Co and Vogue.

The stands, designed by architects Dante Donegani and Giovanni Lauda, will host the participating companies and will also feature a Ceramics of Italy / ICE info point where visitors can find out more about the unique qualities of Italian ceramics and their unlimited potential for use. In particular, visitors will be able to pick up copes of Cer Magazine International in English – aimed at distributors, importers, interior designers, architects and construction firms – and the Ceramica Amica consumer guide in English. The communication activities aimed at promoting an awareness of the Italian participation in the show include the website www.laceramicaitaliana.it, the e-magazine Cer Magazine News and the Ceramics of Italy social media pages.

Following their successful participation in the Paris show and in 2015 also in the Singapore event, Italian ceramic companies are exploiting the unique opportunity offered by Maison&Objet to meet the big players in the design and contract furnishing sectors operating in Southeast Asia.

Maison&Objet Asia has chosen Singapore as a strategic hub for the ASEAN region, making it an ideal platform for companies seeking to enter exclusive New Luxury markets. It is an outstanding showcase for companies wishing to benefit from the opportunities offered by the rapidly growing Asian economies. Maison&Objet Asia will be devoting a series of lectures, conferences and awards to architecture and design through the third edition of the Interior Design and Lifestyle Summit and hopes to repeat the success of 2015 when it was attended by almost 12,000 local and international buyers and designers.
