Cersaie 2016: three months to go and already sold out
Date:July 1, 2016
Cersaie’s 156,000 sq mt exhibiting area has been completely sold. That’s quite an achievement for some reasons. First, there are still three months to go before the exhibition officially opens. This shows a great interest towards the International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings, which is held in Bologna every year at the end of September, when Italian as well as foreign exhibitors from the five continents gather.
Second, Cersaie confirms its importance and centrality for the two industries it hosts. The ceramic industry and the diverse world of sanitaryware and bathroom furnishings will have respectively 16 and 4 entire halls at their disposal: this extraordinary participation will enable visitors to grab the most innovative solutions of the most specialized companies worldwide.
But this extraordinary participation also confirms a feeling of consensus towards the event. Hall 22 will be hosting, for the third consecutive year, real wood parquet manufacturers and suppliers and qualified marble industries coming from all over the world: these floor and wall covering solutions have been considered as attractive alternatives to ceramics since the last few editions.
Many are the reasons lying at the bottom of this success. Next to Cersaie’s peculiarity to act as a hub for the world distribution system – being absolutely the most important exhibition in the world for covering and bathroom furnishings – there are theme areas such as the ‘Architecture Gallery’ or the ‘Tiling Town’ or the ‘Media Agora’ which are really important for operators working in these areas, considering also the contents that get to be presented and shared. This year’s 34th edition sees this multitude of areas further extending with the introduction of Press Cafés – places where discussions on current issues (which will certainly arouse the interest in Cersaie participants) will be helding in spots differently and carefully designed according to the taste of each publication.
