Italian ceramics will be represented by a total of 30 companies at the international exhibition of interior design, decoration and lifestyle to be held in Paris from 22 to 26 January 2016. At the event, Edi.Cer and the Italian Trade Commission ICE will once again be organising a space where international interior design professionals can meet the Italian ceramic tile and sanitaryware industry. The initiative is promoted by the Italian ceramic association Confindustria Ceramica.
In a total floor space of 396 square metres in Hall 5B “Actuel”, three joint stands (R15-S16, R29-S30 and R37-S38) set up by Ceramics of Italy / ICE will provide an overall picture of the very best of what the sector has to offer. The following companies will be displaying a wide variety of products from their most innovative collections: Appiani, Atlas Concorde, Bardelli, Casa Dolce Casa, Casalgrande Padana, Ceramica Panaria, Ceramica Sant’Agostino, Ceramiche Ascot, Ceramiche Refin, Cielo, Cotto d’Este, Edimax Gruppo Beta, Emilceramica, Fap Ceramiche, Fincibec, Floor Gres, Gambini Tile on Time, Gigacer, Impronta Italgraniti, Lea, Litokol, Marazzi, Marca Corona, M.I.P.A., Mirage, Ornamenta, Rex, Settecento, Simas, Vogue. The three areas, designed by the firm D&L Donegani e Lauda, also feature two Ceramics of Italy / ICE info points where visitors can find out more about Italian ceramics and their unlimited opportunities for use.
The Italian participation at this major home design exhibition is coordinated by the Italian Trade Commission ICE, which has brought together the best of Italian production in terms of decoration, from tableware and home fabrics through to art, craftwork and Italian ceramic tiles and sanitaryware. The communication activities aimed at increasing the visibility of Italian products both at the show itself and in Italy’s largest export market include the magazine Cer Magazine International in French (App Store: Cer Mag), the website www.laceramicaitaliana.it, the Ceramics of Italy social channels and the e-magazine Cer Magazine News (www.laceramicaitaliana.it/en/professional/magazine/e-magazine), which is sent out regularly to a mailing list of 40,000 French professionals.
Maison&Object is held in Paris twice a year (in January and September), in Singapore (this year from 8 to 11 March 2016 where there will be a Ceramics of Italy pavilion with 23 companies) and in Miami in May. With a floor space of over 250,000 sq.m, M&O Paris hosted almost 3,200 exhibitors last year, including 55% from outside France, and was attended by more than 78,000 people. Its eight halls offer a broad overview of the world of contemporary and classic interior decoration, including accessories, tableware, kitchen design, textiles, ethno-chic, luxury and designer furnishings.
