A guide to Italian tiles

Ceramica Amica, the handy guide to Italian ceramic tiles which provides all the information needed to make an informed choice as well as helpful tips on installation and maintenance,  is now available in the Spanish version, the sixth after Italian, English, Russian, German, and French.

In its aim to promote Italian tiles all over the world through a widespread and constant action on the main target markets, Confindustria Ceramica has added Spanish to the languages already available.

Designed to provide brief information before buying Italian tiles, the handbook offers helpful tips on maintenance, on eco-friendly quality certifications and on installation.

It is a 24-page practical handbook, and can be divided in three parts.

The first part first describes what modern Italian ceramic tiles are, then explains why its distinctive features (among them sustainability, innovation, design and quality control) make it a unique product as far as materials are concerned, making it incomparable with foreign products.

The second part is made up of eight tables where home spaces (living-room, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, terrace, outdoors and swimming-pool) show the way tiles can be used to cover surfaces.

The third part concerns choice, effective installation (including multi-format installation) as well as post- installation cleaning and routine maintenance.

The Spanish version puts a further accent on the improvements of Italian ceramic tiles, it dwells upon the values and the meaning of the brand “Ceramics of Italy” and the employment of ceramic tiles for commercial purpose (shopping malls, airports, offices, schools, etc).
